Born and raised in Hibbing MN, Ron cut his golfing teeth working and playing at Mesaba Country Club. Ron was fortunate enough to be named an Evans Scholar where he played Big 10 golf for the Golden Gophers. After graduation Ron spent 4 years at Hazeltine National Golf Club as an assistant professional. After Hazeltine, Ron was named head professional at Koronis Hills Golf Club in Paynesville and spent 6 years there. Ron is now in his second year as Alexandria Golf Club's head professional.
